What's in the Swagbags | Meet the 2019 Delight Retreat Sponsors
Hi friends, it’s Marcia here! We’ve been in full-stage recovery for what we like to call the '“post Delight Retreat hangover”, but I’m so excited to hop back on here between the naps and unpacking boxes to share with you about this year’s retreat sponsors.
As we plan each event, we love to focus on making sure we cover the five love languages of our attendees, so no matter what each girl’s love language is- she’ll attend a retreat or workshop and feel so loved! YOU GUYS, I know I might be biased, but honestly the companies that loved on all of our attendees this year are incredible! We are so honored to have these amazing people & companies back the Delight Retreat and can 1000% recommend their products. Not only because the products are great, but the hearts behind them are even better.
First up, check out these beautiful tote bags from our sweet friend Emily of Ever After Blessings.
Ever After Blessings
Sarah Beth Marr
Our sweet friend, Sarah donated her two books Whispers & Wildflowers along with Dreaming with God. I’ve recently finished Whispers & Wildflowers and wow, it was so refreshing. I’m typically not a fan of daily reading devotional styled books, but Sarah Beth Marr mastered this perfectly. It’s filled with truth, encouragement, and gentle reminders to rest, be more present, and live from a place of intimacy with God. SO GOOD!
Headbands of Hope
Headbands of Hope is a company we LOVE partnering with because for every headband they sell, one is donated to a child with cancer. They’ve donated over 385,000 headbands anddddd they even have a little extra treat for those who weren’t able to make it to the Delight Retreat:
You can snag your own headband or wrap at 20% off through June 1st, just use this code: “delightandbe” at the checkout. Shop here!
All Good Things Co.
I’ve totally been crushing on All Good Things Co. and their shop for a while now… especially when they came out with their Enneagram line of prints, be still my heart. And fell in love with them even more when we realized our theme for the retreat this year and their business tagline both are born in Ephesians 3:20. They sent these gorgeous prints for our attendees and I know it’s the perfect reminder to hang up in their homes and offices, reminding them that God has more in store for them than they could ever hope or image.
re:Created is another shop I’ve been crushing on for months now and oh, boy. Carly didn’t disappoint. She handstamped 25 beautiful pieces, but as soon as they arrived in the mail, Kristin (our founder & heart behind Delight & Be) knew this was an opportunity for something intentional. And if you know Kristin, that's her favorite word in the whole wide world and it'll probably be on her tombstone some day. Before our sweet attendees ever arrived, she prayed over each word on these jewelry pieces & each girl and then wrote them a letter explaining why she chose that word for them. Jesus took that far beyond what she imagined and did some beautiful things with those words- we’ll have to share some stories later because God used them in powerful ways.
All that to say, we don’t even have words for how beautiful these pieces are and I know each attendee is treasuring their piece!
Julie Paisley is a woman who goes above and beyond and although she was planning on joining us, sickness got the best of her and she was unable to make it! But we loved having her Creative’s Planner in the bag! It was probably the heaviest item in the swag bag, but it’s got everythingggg you’ll ever need in a planner.
Cultivate What Matters
The Delight & Be team is huge fans of Lara Casey and our friends at Cultivate What Matters, which is why we LOVED being able to include their financial planners in the bags this year. As young business owners, finances are so important and the Finance planner is the perfect tool to enable & equip them to set practical goals for their lives and businesses.
Delight & Be: The Magazine
Okay, okay, I know. I’m a little biased on this one, but packed with 92 pages of solid content and photograph inspiration, created by Delight girls and our friends. The Delight Magazine was one of my favorite items in the bag! Since we’re headed into the summer, we included a copy of Volume 2, our first Spring/Summer edition to flip through and be inspired by.
We have a fantastic shop deal going on right now, you can snack Volume 2 & our latest copy, Volume 3 in a bundle with an extra $10 off! Shop here!
Holly Starr is a national recording & touring pop artist and worship leader. And we feel in love with her when she led worship for a Girl’s Night Out here at the Delight House last October. If you’re looking for some fun new tunes, Holly’s got you covered!!
We had some extra fun giveaways happening throughout our time together, and on our final night, we gathered up and pulled names for who won these FOUR beautiful camera bags!
Anchor & Veil Photography
Seeing other photographers in the industry invest in this generation’s photographers is something that makes our heart SO SO happy! THANK YOU to our friends at Anchor & Veil for donating this gorgeous Kelly Moore Bag. We were obsessed!
OTHER EVENT SPONSORS
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to our other event sponsors who shared discount codes, copies of their products, and all other sorts of goodies!
